Panel notifications: what you see and how to manage them
The panel at https://panel.cloudweb.sk tells you about important events on your account directly in the interface, not just by email. The five most recent notifications appear in the Notifications card on the dashboard; the All notifications link takes you to the full list.
The notifications list
The list shows each notification's level (Info, Warning or Error), its message, its status – Read or Unread – and when it arrived. Unread notifications are shown in bold.
Marking a notification as read
On an unread notification, click Mark as read. Read notifications are not removed from the list, only their status changes – they stay visible in your history.
Deleting a notification
Use the delete action on a notification to remove it for good; the panel asks you to confirm first, since this cannot be undone.
Which events also arrive by email
Some events only show up in the panel, others also land in your inbox:
- Panel only – a hosting backup completing or failing, and a restore from backup completing or failing.
- Panel and email – a domain approaching its expiry date, a domain registration that failed, approaching the hosting limit in a shared group, a hosting plan change (both upgrades and downgrades), a payment failing or succeeding, a subscription being cancelled.
- Email only – the welcome email after registration, resetting a forgotten password, and verifying your email address do not appear in the notifications list – you only receive them in your inbox.
Other hosting-specific events – such as a disk quota warning or a background service being switched off – are covered in managing your hosting.
