Hosting collaborators (Team)

You can invite other users to any hosting you own and give them access only to the panel areas they actually need. Collaborators are managed exclusively by the hosting owner – an invited collaborator cannot invite, edit or remove other collaborators, even if they have every permission, and cannot perform other owner-only actions described in hosting management.

Where to find it

In https://panel.cloudweb.sk open the hosting and go to the Team tab.

Inviting a collaborator

Enter an e-mail address and tick one or more permissions the collaborator should get. The permissions correspond to the hosting's own panel tabs:

  • Deployments
  • E-mail
  • SSH & FTP
  • File manager
  • Databases
  • Domains & subdomains
  • SSL certificates
  • Cron jobs
  • Supervisor
  • Backups
  • Apps
  • Configuration
  • Terminal

You cannot invite your own e-mail address. A single hosting can have at most 10 active or pending collaborators at a time – once that limit is reached, the panel refuses another invitation. If the e-mail address already has active access or an unresolved invitation, the panel tells you instead of sending a duplicate invite.

Invitation validity and resending

An invitation is valid for 7 days from when it was sent. If it expires, the recipient sees an "expired" message when they click the link and you need to send a new one. The resend button on a pending invitation extends its validity by another 7 days from the moment you resend it, and the e-mail is sent again.

What the invited person sees and does

The invitee gets an e-mail with an acceptance link. After clicking it:

  • If they are not logged in and have no account under that address yet, the panel redirects them to registration with the e-mail pre-filled.
  • If they are not logged in but an account already exists, it redirects them to login.
  • If they are logged in under a different e-mail address than the one the invitation was sent to, a mismatch page is shown – only a user logged in under the invited address can accept it.
  • If they are logged in correctly, they see a page summarising the hosting, who invited them and which permissions the invitation carries, with an option to accept or decline. Accepting redirects the collaborator straight to the hosting in the panel. The invitation can also be declined without logging in, directly from the e-mail link.

Editing and removing access

The owner can change an active collaborator's permissions at any time, or remove their access entirely. Removing an active collaborator ends their access immediately; removing an unresolved (pending) invitation deletes it outright.
