Billing profiles

Billing profiles live on the Billing profiles page in the panel (https://panel.cloudweb.sk/profile/billing-profiles), also linked from the personal-details form in account settings. A profile determines what billing information is printed on your documents – name/company, address and tax identifiers.

Profile fields

  • Label – your own name for the profile (e.g. "Company Ltd").
  • First name and Last name, Company (optional), Billing email, Phone (optional).
  • Country, Address (line 1 and 2), City, Postal code.
  • IČO (company registration number), DIČ (tax ID) and IČ DPH (VAT ID) – all three optional; fill them in for company billing.

For Slovak companies, the form also offers a business-registry lookup that, given an IČO or company name, auto-fills the company name, IČO/DIČ/IČ DPH and registered address.

VIES VAT ID verification

Once a profile has a VAT ID filled in, a Verify VAT button appears. Verification runs asynchronously – clicking it only queues the check; the panel tells you to check back after refreshing in a moment. The resulting validity shows in the profiles list as a green check (valid) or a red cross (invalid) next to the VAT ID. This value determines whether reverse charge (0% VAT) applies to your documents instead of standard Slovak VAT – see the VAT rules for customers from other EU countries.

Multiple profiles

You can keep any number of billing profiles, for example a personal one and a company one. One is always marked default (use the Make default button on any other profile) – the default profile is the one offered when a new document is issued.

Deleting a profile

You can delete a profile at any time, except when it's the only profile on your account – in that case the panel refuses the deletion with an error telling you to add another profile first. There is always at least one profile left that can be used for billing.

Where a profile is used

Your default billing profile is also used on the document issued for a credits top-up, and on every other document you choose to pay – see Paying invoices for a payment overview.
