Credits
Credits live under Credits in the panel (https://panel.cloudweb.sk/credits) – the page shows your current balance and a history of movements (top-ups, invoice payments, and any manual adjustments or refunds).
Topping up
You enter the amount to top up in the form – the limit is 5 € to 1,000 € per top-up. The amount you type is the net credit that lands on your balance; VAT is added on top and charged by card via Stripe. The VAT rate is resolved the same way as on a regular invoice, based on your default billing profile:
- Slovak customer, or no country set – standard Slovak VAT rate,
- customer from another EU country with a valid VAT ID verified via VIES – reverse charge (0% VAT on the document),
- everything else – standard Slovak VAT rate.
Before you confirm payment, the panel shows the exact amount including VAT that Stripe will actually charge. On successful payment a tax invoice is generated automatically for the topped-up amount including VAT, and the credit is added to your balance.
Where credits can be spent
Credits can only be applied to a proforma document, and only when your balance covers the entire amount due at once. The panel does not offer a partial credit payment – if your credits don't cover the whole document, you need to pay the rest by card or bank transfer, or top up more credits first. A tax invoice (an already-issued invoice) can never be paid with credits – credits only apply to proformas, which a credit payment settles directly without ever turning into a separate tax invoice (a credit payment is always VAT-exempt, since VAT was already collected at top-up time).
You'll find the option to pay with credits on a document's own payment page – see Paying invoices. Credits can also be set as an automatic payment method for a hosting or domain (the "Pay from credit" toggle in autopay settings) – in that case they're used two days after the proforma is issued, before the charge falls through to your card.
